Richard Brideau

Owner and General Manager of Hit & Run Sports. Coach Brideau has been coaching locally for the past 8 years in the Town of Poughkeepsie Little League and Cal Ripken programs.
In 2009, during the inaugural season in Cal Ripken baseball, he lead the 12U all-star team to the Southern NY District Championship. In 2007, Coach Rich started the Salt Point Highlanders (now Hit & Run Highlanders) travel baseball team. The team is made up of some of the best players in the greater Dutchess County area. The Highlanders have had great success winning the prestigious Baseball Heaven tournament twice; as a 10u team and 12U team. In 2010, Coach Rich leads the Highlanders 13U team.

Will "The Thrill" Boggs
Will is the Director of Player Development at Hit & Run Sports and is available for private and group lessons for both baseball and softball players.
Will is knowledgeable in all areas of baseball and softball development; pitching, hitting, base-running, etc. Will pays special attention to the physical development of the athlete and teaches his players proper warm-up and stretching techniques in order to ensure they are able to continue playing the game they love.

John Boland
John is currently a senior at Red Hook High School and plans to attend Avon Old Farms Prep School in the Fall. This sumer he will be playing in the competitive Team Connecticut program.
At Hit & Run, John helps manage the facility and is also available for training.

Mike Carozza
After a successful high school career at John Jay High School in East Fishkill, Mike joined the Boston University club.
Currently, Coach Carozza plays for the Dutchess Tigers of the Collegiate Baseball League here in Dutchess County. Mike is available to work with kids of all ages to help them develop the fundamentals necessary to become a strong baseball player and a solid young athlete.
Steve Nilsen
Steve has been an active baseball player and coach. He started his collegiate career at SUNY Cobleskill as a pitcher and outfielder. From there, he transferred to The College of Saint Rose and completed his collegiate career and earned his Business Administration in Sports Management.
After college, Steve began coaching and became more involved in the philosophy of the game. Under his first season as the coach for American Legion Post 1219, he helped them win their first District Championship. From there, his love for the game grew and he began to pursue the development of young athletes in helping them improve their individual game.
Steve is still very active within his community around the Kingston area. He loves the game of baseball. He remains an active player and looks forward to helping the success of each and every athlete that he trains. Steven is available for private and group lessons for both baseball and softball players.

Ryan Powers
A local standout from Beacon High School, Ryan is currently playing for St. Leo University in Florida, majoring in Biology with a minor in teaching/coaching. Ryan has received his share of accolades:

Aflac High School All-American Honorable Mention
3 time Perfect Game Gold Glove Winner
Member of 2007 Mississippi State College World Series team
SEC academic honor 2007-2009
2010 MVP St. Leo baseball
